Starter motor commutators for forklifts and plant
Forklift and plant starters live a hard life: dozens of starts a shift, vibration, dust and damp. The commutator is usually the first part to show it, with burnt or worn bars long before the windings fail. Replacing the commutator rather than the whole armature or starter is the cheapest fix and keeps the original unit in service.
